Enlightening Lives came forward to
organize a Rakhi Stall on the occasion of RAKSHA BANDHAN. Our NGO took the
opportunity to encourage the talented students of Autism Research and
Multidisciplinary School – ARMS in Hyderabad.
Our members collected all the necessary stuff like Rakhis, handmade
envelops, paper bags and greeting cards, etc., which were prepared by the
students of ARMS and gathered them in front of APJ Abdul Kalam block, BVRIT.
We sold those Rakhis and creations through our stall on 23rd
and 24th of August. As a part of the Pre-Raksha Bandhan
celebrations, Enlightening Lives hosted a contest called “LUCKY SISTER NAUGHTY
BROTHER”.
The contest involved a Questionnaire
with the contestants and recorded their responses along with oath-taking, their
funny reactions and heartful emotions in our gallery.
On the second day of our event i.e. on 24th of August, we
declared the winners of our contest through a lucky draw and president of Enlightening
Lives- Ms. Priyanka, awarded the winners the title “LUCKY SISTER NAUGHTY
BROTHER” along with a special gift. We signed off with lots of memories, backed
up, and energized ourselves with strong enthusiasm from the grand success of
our event.
