Diwali through your lens !

Diwali as we all cherish is the festival of lights that brings immense joy to everyone in the family.

We all truly stand privileged to celebrate this festival with our family and close ones by exchanging gifts and pleasant surprises .

To add a bit of fun to this celebration , the team of Enlightening lives have organized a fun competition where we encouraged participants to send their pictures depicting what DIWALI mean to them and how they celebrated it . The idea behind this event was to send the proceedings raised from the event to those families who couldn’t celebrate this occasion because of their family conditions .

Participants sent in colorful pictures of what Diwali mean to them , and the winner was rewarded with an exciting gift. The event was a huge success and as always enlightening lives is upfront in lightening up the needy .  The winner of the event is participant no.1 , “Lavanya”.

 

 

 

 

Distribution of household items to Rani

 

      

Bringing light into people's lives has always been a motto of Enlightening Lives.

Rani, living in a less-than-ideal situation with her two daughters as her husband passed away due to heart attack. As soon as the organization caught on to the information, the team actively participated in the task. Rani proposed a list of items, which were basic necessities like groceries, stationary and clothes. 

      Donors aided us in obtaining the funds required. On 13^TH September 2022, Rohith  and Lavanya and our alumni, Harika have been generous and helped us accomplish the task by their contributions.

     All the items required were purchased  at Dmart. The items were then safely delivered to Khammam through the TSRTC bus on 17^th September 2022 . The parcel was then collected by Rani on 19^th September 2022.

       Enlightening Lives is pleased to grant such requests and works to spread even more joy and smiles. 

 

These activities create a sense of humanity and instilled the importance of giving and helping the needful.

Commutek 2k22

 

Commutek 2022 is organized on 29^th and 30^th of April in BVRIT Narsapur campus. It is a National Level Symposium which is an amalgamation of technical and non-technical events. On this regard Enlightening Lives organized “Guess What” which is performed by a group of two friends who will guess a movie name, a thing and an action. 160 students participated in the event and a credible amount has been raised through this event. Guess What event encouraged students to participate and have some good time with their friends. The event is a huge success and uplifts the motto of our organization.

This event brought together students from different streams and created a challenging vibe amongst them. 

Holi Yaar

 The festival of colours is celebrated in a unique way. Holi Yaar was organized on 17^th March 2022 for the friendships formed between the students of our college. Holi Yaar celebrates friendships, brotherhood and the bond formed in the four precious years of our lives. Every student participated with their friends and played the game “This or That” but with a twist.

                             The event was a huge success and brought an enthusiasm among

students of Bvrit . Volunteers collected minimal amounts as part of Enlightening Lives funds.

 This event helped students appreciate the goodness of the festival and also made them aware of initiatives of enlightening lives .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INDUCTION 2K21

 

Enlightening Lives always lends a helping hand to the poor and needy by organizing various events to create social awareness among students. In view of this Enlightening Lives conducted an introductory session on 8th December 2021 where the freshmen acknowledged the main motto of Enlightening Lives as a student chapter. We also described how enlightening lives conducts blood group detection camps and organize several fun events like Rakhi stalls, Daan Utsav, Vruksha Sampada etc and how the money and goodies received are used for a good cause. Enlightening Lives aims at creating social awareness through various Campaigns and provide education for the ones in short of money or facilities.

The freshmen were really enthusiastic hearing about Enlightening Lives. The president of enlightening lives Miss.G.Suchitra explained about the structure and working of the organization. Operations Head Miss.Saahithi Goli represented Enlightening Lives in a fun and unique riddle and Vice President Miss.Jyoshna described about various events EL has conducted pre and post pandemic.In the end the Secretary Miss.Hanisha narrated her journey in enlightening lives that motivated several freshmen. This interactive session ended on a good note with enthusiasm in the freshmen to serve for a great cause and help in the betterment of society.

 

DAAN UTSAV 2k21

 

Daan Utsav is Enlightening Lives’s most memorable and celebrated event of the year. It is a great opportunity to showcase humanity and service. The Festival Of Giving was for 6 days starting from 25^th October to 30^th October,2021 in BVRITN and VIPER.

Donation boxes were placed in all departments exclusively for donating books clothes, stationary and toys. Many students in college actively participated and donated generously.  A week full of gratitude made Daan Utsav 2k21 bright and successful. A wish tree was also organized on 30^th of October to fulfill the wishes of orphans from Nestham Foundation. Daan utsav ended with a bang and all the wishes of young children were fulfilled. The main aim of Daan Utsav which is appreciating the art of giving was celebrated and cherished.

YAARI

Enlightening Lives always has its mark representing special occasions in a unique way. One such event is YAARI. On the occasion of Friendship Day Yaari celebrates friendship at its best starting from 26th July 2021 to 1st August 2021. In this event students are requested to fill in details in a google form. They are asked to dedicate a cartoon or a movie character to their friend or gang. They were also asked to confess anything or write few lines on their friendship and upload any best memory of theirs. The event was a grand success with all the support and enthusiasm from the participants. Yaari event depicts about the participants world of friendship and the winners were decided by Team Enlightening Lives.
