🖐️ A Symbolic Beginning – The Handprint Activity

The day commenced with a collective handprint activity, where students, faculty members, and the club’s esteemed faculty coordinator, Anupama Ma’am, came together to leave their colorful handprints on a large banner. This vibrant visual not only signified individual commitment but also embodied the collective spirit of the Enlightening Lives community.

                   

The activity continued until 1:30 PM, drawing enthusiastic participation and creating a beautiful mosaic of unity and service.

🏁 Banner Unveiling & Vision Sharing

At 3:30 PM, the official unveiling of the “Hastakshar” banner took place near the Indoor Sports Complex. The unveiling was followed by an inspirational address, highlighting the vision, mission, and core values of the EL Club. The speech encouraged new members to step forward and contribute meaningfully to the club’s ongoing efforts for social upliftment and student-driven change.

💃 A Joyful Conclusion – Flash Mob by Cultural Club

The event concluded on a festive and high-energy note with a flash mob performance by the talented Dance Crew from the Cultural Club, BVRIT. Their electrifying moves and infectious enthusiasm added a celebratory vibe, turning the orientation into an unforgettable experience.

🎟️ Highlights & Experience

The screening of the much-loved Telugu film Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi drew an enthusiastic crowd of 500–600 students, filling the auditorium with laughter, excitement, and cheer. The event provided a vibrant atmosphere, with students enjoying a rare moment to unwind amidst academic pressures.

From the opening credits to the final scene, the auditorium echoed with joyous reactions, creating a shared cinematic experience that turned into a cherished college memory.

💰 Income Generated

The event generated funds through ticket sales priced at ₹50 per person. The entire income will be directed towards community service and welfare projects undertaken by Enlightening Lives BVRIT, ensuring that every moment of fun contributes to a greater cause.

On January 11, 2025, the Enlightening Lives Club proudly hosted AVIRBHAV, a vibrant and purposeful event that brought together students and enthusiasts for a day filled with joy, cultural celebration, and heartfelt engagement. Held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Open Minds venue on the BVRIT campus, the event was a beautiful blend of entertainment and philanthropy, aimed at raising funds for those in need.

The event radiated the creative energy of the Enlightening Lives Club members, who transformed the venue with vibrant decorations and a welcoming atmosphere. Their tireless dedication ensured an enjoyable experience for all participants and guests.

🎯 GAMES CORNER:

1. Grab the Thing:
An energetic and interactive game where two rival teams competed to identify and grab items hinted at through music. This game not only boosted attentiveness and reflexes but also encouraged teamwork and enthusiasm among participants.

2. Balloon Dart:
A classic hit! Participants had three chances to hit balloons with darts. This game tested precision, focus, and composure, making it a thrilling and skill-based challenge.

3. UNO Fort:
A creative twist on the traditional UNO game. Participants used UNO cards to build a stable “fort” by following strategic placement rules. The game nurtured creativity and critical thinking, sparking excitement and innovation among attendees.

🎨 STALLS ZONE:

1. Fingerprint Memory Stall:
This artistic station invited participants to create memorable artwork using just their fingerprints. It was highly inclusive and sparked creativity in students of all ages. Many walked away with unique keepsakes and smiles.

2. Roses Stall:
A heartwarming stall where attendees could buy roses for themselves or gift them to someone special. The activity spread love and positivity, creating touching moments and beautiful memories for everyone involved.

AVIRBHAV '23

 

28th January wasn’t just another sunny Saturday for the students of BVRIT Narsapur.

 Students were joyous and cheerful as the college hosted Avirbhav’23 - a traditional day fest. Everyone were spotted in their best ethnicity . 

The college was colourful as students enjoyed the beautiful Sankranthi vibes with amazing festive backdrop at the lawns of BVRIT . BVRIT as it is, a beautiful campus , was sparkling and glowing for it was graciously decorated by students. Enlightening Lives club , always tries to grab the best opportunities to help the needy and Avirbhav’23 was one great platform . 

The team came up with some ideas store the beautiful memories of the day and members of EL hosted a ‘ Memories’ stall . This was a fundraiser event , wherein students made collages of thumb impressions of themselves and their friends to remember that day! They signed under each of their impressions and inked designs on the impressions! There were also fancy props , where in groups of friends posed for fancy pictures using these props

A fresh start opens to a endless valley of dreams and hope.

Every year BVRIT Narsapur, doesn’t take a back step in welcoming young minds into the college, to shape their dreams into reality and to inculcate a sense of humanity in these fresh minds, the team of Enlightening Lives gives a brief introduction about the club .

This year also , the new Executive team and energetic core members gave an amazing overview about the club .

Ms. Shreya , a content writer in the team, asked a few riddles to the freshmen regarding the club and explained the motto and why is EL different from other clubs. El is special because it was started by the alumni of BVRIT ,so it gives a sense of responsibility to carry forward the good going .    

And then , Ms. Sahithi continued the session. She spoke about the success stories of the events that were hosted by EL ,and about the lives of people to whom the proceedings of the fundraisers went.

             

Mr. Manideep , the Chief Graphic Designer spoke about his journey in the club, and how this has shaped his personality.

 Ms. Jyoshna ,the President of Enlightening Lives started off by talking about few of the blockbuster events that they have organised and then share her journey ,of how she began as a volunteer and went on to become the president of the club .  Jyoshna spoke about how, her  active participation in the club has helped her develop inter-personal skills, that has further helped her during her placement interviews .

Diwali as we all cherish is the festival of lights that brings immense joy to everyone in the family.

We all truly stand privileged to celebrate this festival with our family and close ones by exchanging gifts and pleasant surprises .

To add a bit of fun to this celebration , the team of Enlightening lives have organized a fun competition where we encouraged participants to send their pictures depicting what DIWALI mean to them and how they celebrated it . The idea behind this event was to send the proceedings raised from the event to those families who couldn’t celebrate this occasion because of their family conditions .

Participants sent in colorful pictures of what Diwali mean to them , and the winner was rewarded with an exciting gift. The event was a huge success and as always enlightening lives is upfront in lightening up the needy .  The winner of the event is participant no.1 , “Lavanya”.
